STRUCTURAL SYNTHESIS OF BRAKE SYSTEMS WITH TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC RATIONALE

Abstract
As a result of the synthesis, a progressive design of a brake disc equipped with brake pads has been obtained, which:
will ensure the introduction of the principle of interchangeability of the use of brake pads for different sizes of discs; will
provide easy replacement of brake pads on the disc; reduce the frequency of brake pad replacements; will avoid the need for
repair (regrinding with relative wear) and replacement (with full wear) of brake discs; will provide improved braking
performance due to the contact "friction material - friction material" when using friction brake pads fixed on the brake disc
and friction brake pads fixed in the caliper.
