QUALITY AND CONFORMITY OF PRODUCTS TO REGULATORY DOCUMENTS: PRINCIPLES OF ORGANIZATION
Abstract
The article examines the principles of organization of quality and conformity of products to regulatory documents.
It is emphasized that quality and conformity assurance is an integral part of the product quality management process and is
carried out at all stages of its life cycle: development, production or manufacture, operation or consumption of products. The
concept of quality management is formed as an integrated continuous cycle of production management, which includes
processes of planning, implementation, verification and adjustment, which, in turn, allows to correct detected at any stage deviations of production quality indicators from planned values. The schematic representation of stages of formation and
maintenance of quality of production is offered, the PDCA cycle is resulted and the basic correspondences between cost and
quality which assume performance of correspondence between value and cost of production for the consumer are defined;
between the cost and cost of production for the manufacturer; between the value for the consumer and the producer, which
determines the competitiveness of products. Mandatory requirements for product quality included in the current standards on
the territory of Ukraine are disclosed: standards of general technical conditions, which must contain general requirements for
the same product group; standard specifications, which must contain requirements for specific products. It is emphasized that
the most important tasks of quality management are to ensure stable product quality, identify possible areas for quality
improvement, analysis of performance data, assessment of product quality in comparison with its initial level. The concept of
defects and the principles of classification of defects by signs of detection are described. Measures are proposed to distribute
responsibilities to meet the conditions of improving and controlling the level of product quality at the enterprise.
