Abstract

The problem of waiting time for passengers at a bus stop is relevant for every city residents who uses public transport. The development of analytical dependence is a theoretical basis for assessing the efficiency of the operation of city route networks as a whole and, in particular, allows to provide a quantitative assessment of measures aimed at reducing the waiting phase during passenger movements. With the introduction of public transport passenger service technology operating according to a timetable known to them, the waiting time will depend solely on each user of urban passenger transport and his individual attitude to the trip as a whole, which allows to minimize both the time costs and the negative perception of these costs.
