AIR DRYING IN PRE-START THERMOSTATING SYSTEMS TO THE REQUIRED DEW POINT
Abstract
It is currently important for the Ukrainian space industry to ensure the competitiveness of rocket and space complexes using launch vehicles in the global space services market. Launch vehicles are considered as potential carriers for the creation and implementation of satellite systems in accordance with national programs of Ukraine and other countries. An analysis of the design features of the existing spacecraft compartments shows that these systems were designed to work with pressure-tight spacecrafts when only the temperature and humidity is monitored in the compartment. In the work are performed consideration, analysis and possibilities of air drying in pre-start thermostating systems to the required dew point. In the case of a slight increase in pressure, it becomes possible to efficiently use Freon refrigerating machines to dehumidify air to a dew point below 0°C, instead of traditional physic-chemical dehydrators or high-pressure air drying in the starting systems for the thermostating of space rocket systems.
