Abstract

Issues related to the influence of changes in the brake force distribution coefficient between the axles of a Lanos passenger car in a different weight state on the value of the relative change in deceleration during operation and the choice of its rational value are considered. The choice of such a coefficient of distribution of braking forces, in accordance with a revised theory, will allow for emergency braking on dry asphalt concrete to create conditions for the realization of a greater braking torque on the wheels of the rear axle of the car.

The specified refinements did not affect the value of the rational calculated coefficient of adhesion, but the value of the constant coefficient of distribution of braking forces between the axles corresponding to this choice is shifted to the region of lower values. The choice of such a coefficient of distribution of braking forces, in accordance with a revised theory, will allow for emergency braking of Lanos cars on dry asphalt concrete to create conditions for the realization of a relatively greater deceleration of up to 16.5%.
