Abstract
The influence of technological parameters of the process of contact welding of sheet structures on the strength of the welded joint was studied. The boundary conditions and the variability of the combination of different factors on the ability to form a high-quality and strong welded joint were determined. A mathematical model for finding the optimal values of the shear strength of the welded joint of sheet structures by the method of gradient descent along the response surface was developed. The optimal mode of the process of contact welding of steel sheets of a certain thickness was established.
