Abstract
Using the technology of reactive sintering of powders, composite ceramic materials based on silicon carbide of two modifications with an average particle size of 70 nm and 28 μm were obtained, containing in the charge from 3 to 10% (wt.) of Cr3C2 powder particles with an average particle size of ~0.2 μm. The influence of the Cr3C2 content and the size of silicon carbide particles on the regularities of change in the propagation velocities of longitudinal and transverse elastic waves, disturbed by pulse acoustic techniques, were studied.
