ANALYSIS OF THE PROSPECTS FOR REDUCING ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF TORQUE FLOW PUMPS FOR PUMPING LIQUIDS WITH INCLUSIONS
Abstract
The increase in the efficiency of pumping equipment and, in particular, torque flow pumps is a promising direction for the development of industry. Since the increase in the price of energy resources and the increase in quality requirements for industrial equipment are significant factors in the work of enterprises.
Therefore, the purpose of this work is to find and compare ways to improve the efficiency of torque flow pumps by modernizing the design of the elements of the flow path.
Conducting a literature review made it possible to determine the optimal way to improve the flow path. This method is a modernization of the impeller by changing the width of the blades.
Replacing only one structural element of the pump minimizes the investment costs of enterprises and positively affects the total life cycle cost of the pumping unit.
The upgraded design of torque flow pumps makes it possible to control operating parameters over a wide range. In particular, head by 20% and efficiency by 3-4% of the nominal value.
