Abstract
In the article, a kinematic analysis of options for oscillating movements of the workpiece is performed to improve the efficiency of roughing and finishing operations of vibromechanical grinding of solid gas-thermal coatings. Based on the comparison of the kinematics of abrasive vibromechanical cutting processes with blade cutting, conclusions were made regarding the rational use of axial, radial and tangential directions of the vibration speed vector depending on the nature of the operation, the type of coating and its material, and the characteristics of the grinding wheel.
