RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF THE ROPE MECHANISM FOR LOADING SMALL STORAGE ROOMS OF VEGETABLES AND FRUITS IN CONTAINERS
Abstract
Loading process of fruit and vegetable packaging into the warehouse requires compliance with the raw material requirements. It is especially important to comply with the requirements for the fruit and vegetable damage degree, as damage must be minimal or absent. Such damage can occur due to abrupt changes in transportation speed and other factors. The analysis of literature sources and design-technological schemes of installations for loading small storage rooms with vegetables and fruits in containers and their shortcomings were identified with the definition of promising research directions. An experimental installation of a two-rope mechanism has been developed, a methodology for conducting their research and devices used in the process of experiments are presented. The process of operation of the electronic dynamometer during experimental researches is described in detail. On the basis of the proposed technical solutions and the manufactured rope mechanism for loading small storage rooms with vegetables and fruits in containers, studies were carried out on an experimental installation to determine the relationship between its structural, kinematic and power parameters. Specific numerical values of the ratios of the load forces of the levers, the different positions of the fastening of the springs and the magnitude of their deformation are presented. Recommendations are given on the choice of rational parameters of the rope mechanism for high-quality performance of the technological process, depending on the angle of inclination of the pair of ropes to the horizon, the mass and speed of movement of goods from the zone of their loading to the unloading zone and other adjustable parameters.
