Abstract
Pneumatic technology is widely used in the extraction of organic sapropel for the production of fertilizers; it has established itself as energy-saving. To improve this technology, you can use mechanical machines in a combined arrangement, pneumomechanical. Eliminating the shortcomings of mechanical mining means proposed pneumomechanical intake device with a milling ripper. To introduce this machine design into production, it is necessary to carry out a number of justifications and studies.
The article presents the results of theoretical studies of determining the power of the air flow necessary for actuating the milling cutter of a pneumomechanical mining device, which is intended for loosening the lower and middle layers of sapropel of high viscosity and cutting plant inclusions.
