Abstract
The article presents the results of the research of sunflower seeds movement in a centrifugal machine and the influence of the disk rotation speed on the speed of the seed departure from the disk and the time of its stay on a disk in a centrifugal machine.
The basic requirement in the process of breaking is the construction of the machine, which should to ensure that the maximum number whole kernels and minimal formation whole grain oil and dust.
Changing the speed of particles in a centrifugal disk environment of centrifugal machine, depends on many parameters, one of the main is the shape of the blades.
As a result of theoretical research derived equation characterizes the relative movement of sunflower seeds in the working body of the centrifugal machine, taking into account its geometric parameters.
The research has established that with an increase in the speed of the disk, the relative speed of the grain out of the disk blade increases, and the time it stays on the blade of the disc decreases.
