Abstract

Intensive and not always scientifically grounded use of soils, the introduction of pesticides and agrochemicals, and the deficit of organic fertilizers have caused a number of environmental problems that are related to soil degradation, environmental pollution and reduced yields and quality of cultivated products.
Partly solving the problem of organic fertilizer deficit in the Western Polesia can be the production and use of non-traditional organic fertilizers Biotherm-S.
The research of the effectiveness of new fertilizers was carried out in the Volyn and Rivne regions by the method of field and laboratory experiments, biometric observations, statistical calculations. Analyzes of the quality of plants and agrochemical indices of the soil were carried out in the certified laboratories of the Volyn Soil Fertility Center.
Due to the lack of traditional organic and unbalanced application of mineral fertilizers, soil fertility and quality of agricultural produce are reduced. In the Volyn region started production of non-traditional fertilizers - products of fermentation Bioterm-S. Such fertilizers increase the yield of crops, reduce the anthropogenic load on soils, they can be used in the organic farming system.
