Abstract

Flax pulling out process is the main technological process of flax harvesting. First of all the working bodies or surfaces of the flax harvesting machinery should ensure the high purity of flax pulling out and prevent flax stem damage and loss of flax seeds. The most common are belt flax pulling mechanisms. Belt flax pulling mechanisms provide a high purity of flax pulling out and flax band formation with parallel arrangement of stems in it. A complicated drive and large dimensions are the main disadvantages of belt flax pulling mechanisms. Modern technologies for the primary processing of the stem part of the flax harvest, in particular with a view to the allocation of short fibers, do not require the parallels of stems of flax during their processing, therefore, it simplifies the construction of the flax pulling mechanism. Several such designs have been proposed by scientists, but in the vast majority, such flax pulling mechanisms do not provide high purity of flax pulling out due to design features. Therefore, researches aimed at developing a flax pulling mechanism that would provide a high purity of flax pulling out and had a simple drive are relevant. The construction of the disk-plate pulling mechanism is substantiated in the article. A simple drive and compactness are the main advantages of the design of a new flax pulling mechanism. Also, the results of theoretical studies of rational constructive and technological parameters of the proposed flax pulling mechanism are presented in the article. Equations describing the trajectory of the characteristic points of the flax pulling mechanism during the movement of the flax harvesting machine allow us to simulate and analyze the flax pulling out process in the proposed flax pulling mechanism.
