REVIEW OF CERTAIN PRINCIPLES OF STANDARDIZATION AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The article examines the current state of standardization, certification, accreditation, conformity assessment and metrology and the relevance of international agreements.

Given the prevailing economic and social challenges, the role and further development of metrology and metrology activities, standardization and related activities are of extreme strategic importance. The world is considering intentions regarding digital transformation in the international scientific and quality infrastructure, the creation of a globally unified and secure data exchange format based on the International System of Units.

In order to adapt international and European procedures on matters of mereology, standardization and related activities in modern conditions, taking into account the state and characteristics of the Ukrainian economy, social, humanitarian and political development of the country, an appropriate analysis of certain international and regional regulatory documents was carried out.
