THEORETICAL PROOFS OF THE DIMENSIONS OF A FLEXIBLE WORKING BODY CABLE CONVEYOR

Abstract

The design of the flexible working body of the cable conveyor is presented, which ensures a reduction in the force of transporting bulk materials in cylindrical pipes and improves the conditions of transportation and, accordingly, increases the operational reliability and durability of the working body. Analytical dependencies are derived for determining the productivity of the cable conveyor and design parameters. Technological production processes related to loose, powdery materials are inextricably linked with the movement of a large number of loads along straight and curved lines. Therefore, systems of cylindrical transport-technological mechanisms, as one of the reliable types of transport, play a leading role in ensuring transport flows, complex mechanization and automation of work at enterprises.

The advantages of such transportation are great tightness, variety of spatial curvilinear lines, the possibility of using standard pipes for chutes, and round thin-walled discs for scrapers. The main disadvantage of these conveyors is insufficient operational reliability and durability, especially when moving on curved sections of transportation lines.

Therefore, the substantiation of the parameters of flexible working bodies of cable conveyors is relevant and important.
