RESEARCH OF TECHNOLOGY OF WINDING OF THE SECTOR RING BILLETS FOR PRODUCTION OF SCREW FLIGHTS
Abstract
Analytical dependencies are obtained, which describe the relationship between the parameters of the initial ring sector billets and tools on the energy-power indicators of the forming process. The influence of geometric parameters of the initial billets, their heating temperature, parameters of tools and lubricants on the energy-power parameters of the manufacturing process of wound screw flights are studied. The dependences of the influence of the radius of the initial ring sector billets and the diameter of the tool roller on the design parameters of the screw flights and the energy-power parameters of the forming process are given.
It is established that with the increase of the radius of the outer edge of the initial billet with the same arm of the bending force increases the winding moment and expended work. The use of ring sector billets with variable radius of the outer edges allows to obtain screw flights with the same outer and inner diameters, but different thicknesses of the outer and inner edges of the coil. Research of the influence of the pitch of triangular cutouts on the initial billets on the energy showed that the presence of cutouts significantly reduces the deformation force. The obtained results can also be used to calculate the parameters of the ring sector billet in the manufacture of winding screw flights.
