STAND FOR INVESTIGATION OF LOADING CAPACITY OF SLOT DRIVES OF MACHINES
Abstract
The most important criterion for the performance of slotted joints is the resistance of the working surfaces to crushing and actuation, which occurs due to the relative micro-displacements of the loaded surfaces due to shaft deformation and gaps in the joint details. In the profile connection, the enclosing and enclosing surfaces of the parts have a non-circular shape in cross section. Such connections are used to install on the shafts of handles, flywheels, and sometimes heavy parts. More advanced are such profile connections, the contours of which have the property of equivalence - the invariance of the distance between two parallel tangents to the contour. In this case the technology of processing of surfaces of details of connection is simplified. Technological prerequisites for the design of a stand for the study of stresses and load capacity of splined drives of agricultural machinery and on their basis to design a suitable stand. Analytical dependences for calculating the strength of spline joints, allowable stress in friction pairs, etc. are derived.
