Abstract
The method of experimental determination of the influence of spindle speed on the power characteristics of clamping devices with mechanical drive, installed in the spindle units of automated metalworking machines, is presented. One of the most common embodiments of the mechanical drive of the clamping device, which contains a wedge and lever transmission and provides a geometric circuit of the system.
