ON THE INFLUENCE OF CONSTRUCTIVE PARAMETERS OF A BREAKING CIRCUIT ON TEMPERATURE IN THE ZONE OF CENTERLESS GRINDING
Abstract
The paper considers the influence of the design parameters of the discontinuous circle on the temperature in the area of centerless grinding. The rate of thermal stress of the process of centerless grinding of bearing surfaces is influenced by a significant number of technological factors, including the grinding scheme, the method of cooling and a number of physico-chemical factors.
Experimental studies were carried out, which confirmed the results of modeling of temperature processes in the area of centerless intermittent grinding of the workpiece. The area of contact of the abrasive wheel with the workpiece is a narrow strip of rectangular shape, which moves on the surface of the workpiece. In this case, the temperature field can be calculated according to the scheme of a moving infinitely long source of the surface strip.
