INCREASING THE PERFORMANCE OF PARTS MADE OF MAGNETIC-SOFT ALLOYS BY INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY OF STEAM PLASMA TREATMENT
Abstract
Improving the operational characteristics of parts of electro valves, propulsion units of orbital satellites, and, consequently, their life cycle can be achieved by using various technologies for their surface treatment, such as applying special coatings, modifying the working surfaces of parts, as well as selecting processing methods to reduce residual stresses. The specificity of the processed parts (corrosion resistance, magnetic properties) requires the development of special coating methods. The preparation of initial data on the development of coating technologies was carried out on the basis of an analysis of literature sources and previous studies.
An experimentally carried out activation of a surface made of a soft magnetic alloy under chrome plating followed by polishing. On the basis of the developed complex technological process based on modern methods of preparation and activation of surfaces for coating, environmentally friendly methods of chromium plating, the efficiency of obtaining the quality of surfaces of soft magnetic alloys has been experimentally proved. And it has been proven that the process of vapor-plasma treatment can be used both in preparing the surface for coating, and directly for coating.
