PREREQUISITES OF CREATING COMBINED OPERATIONS MANUFACTURING SCREW FLIGHTS AND HELICOID SCREW BY METAL FORMING

Abstract

The problem of improving technological processes for obtaining screw flights and helicoid screws in the production of screw products based on the development and effective use of combined operations of the method of metal forming has been formulated. A terminological description of the main simple processes of shaping such blanks by the method of metal pressure processing is given. Based on the use of manufacturability indicators, the boundaries of the use of the mentioned processes are determined. The results obtained can be used for the synthesis of combined processes for the production of screw flights and helicoid screws.
