RULES FOR DESIGN AND SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES TO THE COLLECTION "Promising Technologies and Devices"
A scientific article should have the following elements: a statement of the problem in general terms and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks; an analysis of recent research and publications in which the solution of this problem was initiated and on which the author relies, the identification of previously unresolved issues of the general problem to which the specified article is devoted; a formulation of the objectives of the article (statement of the task); a structured presentation of the research materials with a full justification of the scientific results obtained; clear conclusions that correspond to the goals and state of this research and the prospects for further work in this direction.
1. The article can be submitted in Ukrainian or English. The article must be typed in a text editor no lower than MS WORD 6.0/7.0 and printed only on a laser or inkjet printer on white sheets of A4 format (290x210 mm). Do not number the pages.
2. Page parameters: left – 3 cm, top, bottom, right margins – 2 cm. From the edge to the header, top – 1.25 cm, bottom – 1.25 cm.
3. Article header: UDC index, authors’ surnames and initials, organization name – are typed on a new line in Time New Roman Cyr font size 11 pt with single line spacing and aligned to the left edge. The title of the article is placed 1 cm below the name of the organization, typed in capital letters in Time New Roman Cyr font size 11 pt with bold highlighting and aligned to the center. The abstract should be extended (1000-1200 characters), should contain a summary of the article and are placed 1 cm below the title of the article, typed with a paragraph indent of 1 cm in Time New Roman Cyr font size 11 pt with single line spacing and aligned to the width. Keywords are indicated below the abstracts. The authors' surnames and initials, the name of the organization, the title of the article, the abstract, and the keywords are provided in Ukrainian, Russian, and English, with the abstract in the language of the article being provided at the beginning, and the authors' surnames and initials, the name of the organization, the title of the article, the abstract, and the keywords in the other two languages after the information sources.
4. The main text is placed 1 cm below the annotations, typed with a paragraph indent of 1 cm in Time New Roman Cyr font size 11 pt with single line spacing and aligned in width.
5. To type formulas, use the MS WORD formula editor (use the Symbol font for formulas; for text – Time New Roman Cyr; sizes: regular 12 pt., large index 7 pt., small index 5 pt., large symbol 18 pt., small symbol 12 pt.). The formula is centered and should not occupy more than 5/6 of the line width.
6. Place available illustrations in the text, aligning the captions (Fig. 1. Scheme ...) in the center. The second copy of the illustration must be submitted on a separate sheet in jpg format. The illustrations must be clear and contrasting.
· Tables should be placed in the text, and their width should be 1 cm less than the width of the line. Above the table, put its serial number (Table 1) - aligned to the right edge, under which place the table title, aligned to the center.
· Information sources are provided as a general list at the end of the manuscript in accordance with the requirements of the state standard, 1 cm from the last line.
10. Information about the authors (author's information) must be attached to the article:
o Last name, First name;
o Place of work, position, academic degree, academic title;
o Scientific interests;
o Correspondence address, telephone number.

ON THE EXPEDIENCY OF APPLICATION OF GRINDING WHEELS WITH A BROKEN PROFILE IN OPERATIONS OF CENTER-FREE GRINDING OF ROTARY SURFACES
The comparative analysis of the work of grinding wheels with a continuous and intermittent working surface for finishing abrasive treatment of the surfaces of roller bearing rings is made in the work. For the finishing abrasive treatment of the surfaces of the roller bearing rings, it is shown that the results of the expected contact temperature, roughness and wear intensity at a given intensity of metal removal are confirmed by theoretical calculations. The obtained results allow us to conclude that in centerless grinding operations, especially when machining roller bearing rings, it is advisable to use grinding wheels with an intermittent surface.
Key words: grinding wheel, abrasive tool, centerless grinding, intermittent profile, dimensional wear, temperature in the cutting zone, surface of rotation.
