Problem aspects and directions for improvement of passenger transportation
Abstract
The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of passenger transportation in Ukraine, focusing on key problems that hinder the effective development of this industry. In particular, it examines in detail such problems as outdated material and technical base and infrastructure, which significantly limits the possibilities of ensuring safe, comfortable and fast transportation of the population. Deterioration of rolling stock, insufficient level of comfort and service, lack of proper conditions for people with disabilities are factors that negatively affect the level of satisfaction of users of transport services.
The work identifies strategic directions for improving the passenger transportation system in Ukraine. In particular, it substantiates the feasibility of implementing innovative logistics solutions that provide for the digitalization of transportation processes, automation of document flow, and the creation of a single platform for booking, payment and monitoring of transport services. It is proposed to develop a network of marketing and logistics centers, which will allow optimizing route planning, ensuring convenient connection of different types of transport, organizing interregional and international transportation at a qualitatively new level.
The article also proposes a number of practical measures aimed at increasing the competitiveness of transport enterprises, in particular, updating rolling stock, introducing loyalty systems for passengers, improving the system of training and retraining of personnel, and introducing environmentally friendly types of transport. It is determined that the sustainable development of passenger transportation in Ukraine is possible only under the condition of active interaction of the state, business and the public, as well as an integrated approach to the modernization of the transport system in the conditions of modern economic, social and technological challenges.
