Transport and customs logistics in international transport in post-war Ukraine

Abstract

Transport and customs logistics in international transport is a comprehensive approach to organising, coordinating and optimising all operations related to the transport of goods across customs borders. This approach is aimed at speeding up the movement of goods, reducing costs and ensuring compliance with the customs legislation of different countries.

The novelty of the transport logistics concept for managing the procedure for moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine is the introduction of an integrated approach to organising and optimising all stages of the customs clearance process.

In post-war Ukraine, transport and customs logistics in international transport plays a crucial role in economic recovery, increasing foreign economic activity and integration into global markets. Given the new environment, infrastructure rebuilding, changed trade routes and increased security requirements. Transport and customs logistics must take into account a number of specific aspects and challenges. This new concept makes it possible to speed up and simplify the movement of goods across the customs border of Ukraine, reducing delays and improving the quality of service, which is a significant contribution to the development of foreign trade logistics. An efficient transport and customs system will ensure speed and accessibility of goods, promote export growth, investment, and Ukraine's integration into the global economy.

Ensuring the stability and security of international transport is key to Ukraine's economic recovery after the war. It is important to establish reliable transport corridors, integrate into global supply chains, and promote investment in logistics infrastructure. This will create the preconditions for the resumption of trade, export growth and access to global markets, which in turn will contribute to the country's economic development.

Road logistics is the most popular choice for transporting a variety of goods. This method is suitable for cross-border transport with delivery of goods directly to the recipient's door. It is cost-effective and allows you to flexibly change the route and delivery time. Customs logistics for goods purchased abroad allows them to be released into free circulation only after crossing the customs border and paying the relevant fees.
