Design of working bodies of earth machinery with the help of a flexibly adjustable tribotechnical complex
Abstract
In recent decades, the problem of the lack of prediction of wear and tear of working equipment in earthmoving machines has become increasingly common. It is this group of machines that performs the most time-consuming work, and their productivity directly depends on the soils in which they work. To solve this issue, the authors suggest using a model of a flexibly adjustable tribotechnical complex with computer control, for modeling the process of the work of technological machines during their long-term operation in conditions imitating real ones, in order to establish, already at the design stage, optimal structural parameters of working bodies, as well as economically feasible terms of their service according to energy saving criteria. The developed complex simulates the physical and mechanical properties of specific types of soil in a container that is filled with a mixture consisting of a solid and liquid substance, which is a magnetic fluid, the viscosity of which varies in a magnetic field in a very wide range. In this way, a working environment is formed that can change its physical and mechanical properties depending on the intensity of the magnetic field affecting this mixture. With the help of this complex, it is also possible to determine the rational method and properties of applying protective coatings to individual elements of the working bodies of earthmoving machines. The technical system organized in this way, which simulates the operation of the working equipment of the earthmoving machine in various natural conditions, provides for the continuous fixation and memorization of energy consumption depending on the design features and the actual wear and tear of the working equipment, which allows, in the express mode, to obtain almost all initial data for the design of working bodies, new generations, for earthmoving equipment, working with minimal energy consumption when extracting minerals or carrying out construction work. Keywords: tribotechnical complex, computer control, working equipment of the earthmoving machine, solenoid, power source.
