Author Guidelines

  1. Content requirements

1.1 Submitted articles should correspond to the journal profile. Scientific articles, which have such necessary elements, are accepted for publication: introduction, analysis of literature data and problem statement, aim and objectives of research, research results, discussion of study results and conclusions.

The Editorial Board accepts articles that consider the current state of the most pressing problems related to the journal's profile.

1.2 The minimum size of the article – 8 thousand characters including spaces (3 full pages of typed text), the maximum – 30 thousand (up to 12 pages of typed text). The recommended article size is 15-22 thousand characters (5-10 pages of typed text).

1.3 Articles in Ukrainian, Russian, English and Polish are accepted.

  1. Design requirements

2.1 The text of the article should be typed in MS WORD text editor, carefully checked, printed and signed by all authors.

2.2 The text should be typed in 1 interval font "Times New Roman", size 11 points on A4 format. Font style-normal, paragraph indentation – 1 cm, text alignment - the width of the page. The page must have a margin of 20 mm. The serial number of the page is not affixed. The main elements and the text of the article are made in accordance with these requirements and DSTU 3008-2015!

2.3 In the left corner from above the UDC index is put down (font-usual, size-11 points), in the next line it is duplicated in English. After one line the surname and initials of the author (authors) are printed, the line below – the place of the main work of the author (authors), city, country (font – italic, size – 11 points). Next, one line – the title of the article (font – bold, size – 11 points).

2.4 In a line after the title of the article is submitted abstract in Ukrainian. The volume of the abstract in Ukrainian – 1500-2000 characters. The final paragraph of the abstract contains key words. Key words should as accurately as possible reflect the content and focus of the article, their list of 5 to 10 words or phrases.

2.5 Formulas should be created in "MathType" environment. Style (font) of formulas "Times New Roman", size 11 points, alignment on the page – in the centre. The formula number is placed at the right end of the line in parentheses. Skip before and after the formula one line.

The title should be brief and reflect the contents of the table. In the case of a transfer table on the following page, over other parts write "Continuation of table __" with the number of the table. All tables should be referenced in the text, if the table is borrowed– you must specify the source!!! Moving a table from one page to another must be duplicated by column numbering. Table name: font "Times New Roman Cyr", size 11 points, normal, placement in the centre.

2.7 Illustrations (photographs, drawings, diagrams, graphs, drawings) must be located within the text area. All images must be entered into the document as a picture without a frame. Figures should be of high quality, it should be possible to edit its size and elements, the text in it without distortion of proportions, the minimum thickness of the lines-not less than 1PT. Illustrations are indicated by serial numbers. If necessary, place under the illustration explaining the data (parisnicole text). Illustration is indicated by the word "figure __", which together with the name of the illustration is placed after the explanatory data. Picture title: font "Times New Roman", size 11 points, normal, placement in the centre of the page. All illustrations should be referenced in the text!!!

Figures are attached to the article in the form of graphic files. It is best if the illustrations are made using vector graphics and saved in JPG format.

2.8 The list of sources (bibliography) to which there are references in the article is made in accordance with DSTU 8302:2015, and is given at the end of the article (in order of references) under the heading "LIST OF REFERENCES". It is obligatory to have references to the used literary sources in the text of the article. The number of references should indicate that the author has thoroughly analysed the research in this direction, and be at least 8 references. The list of references is given in their original language.

A transliterated list of references under the heading "REFERENCES" is given one line later. Transliterated and English-language bibliographic references are made in accordance with the requirements of the APA-American Psychological Association (6th ed.). For example:

Author, A. A. Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. (2005). Title of the article. Title of Journal, 10(2), 49-53.

Bibliographic list (References) is induced completely separate block, repeating the list of references to the Ukrainian - or Russian-speaking part, regardless of whether it contains or not foreign sources. If there are references to foreign publications in the list, they are completely repeated in the list, which is created in the Roman alphabet.

If a bibliographic source has a unique identifier DOI (Digital Object Identifier), which is used by almost all leading foreign journals to identify their articles, it is desirable to specify it in the list of references.

Transliteration of the Ukrainian text is carried out according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 27, 2010 No. 55, and transliteration of the Russian text – according to system of the state Department of the USA.

METHODS OF IDENTIFICATION OF IMAGES OF THE SPOTS OF FUEL SPRAYING WITH NOSS

In the paper, a new method of fractal diagnostics of the quality of the fuel spray injector the diesel engine is proposed. The original technique that allows you to allocate quantitative features from the image of the fuel spray nozzle, and using these features, check whether the point set of drops depicted in the photo is close to the reference image of the spray spot with a reference nozzle with a reference fractional dimension. The convenience of this method of fractal diagnostics is that it does not require the use of special devices for checking and diagnosing injectors, as well as the use of expensive photometric equipment.

Keywords: fractal diagnostics, quantitative features of the saw cut, point set of drops, reference fractional dimension, special diagnostic devices.

Пустюльга С.І., Самостян В.Р., Придюк В.М.
