EIGENFUNCTIONS OF THE LAPLACE/HELMHOLTZ EQUATION FOR WEDGE-SHAPED DOMAIN

The Laplace/Helmholtz equation for wedge-shaped regions (wedge-shaped sector of finite width, wedge-shaped sector of finite length) in a cylindrical coordinate system is solved. The solutions are obtained in the form of series in an orthonormal system of modified Bessel and McDonald functions. Formulas for estimating the required number of first terms of the corresponding series to ensure the given accuracy of calculations are derived.
