Providing mobility for people with disabilities is a critically important challenge for modern engineering. Individual rehabilitation vehicles (IRVs), including manually and electrically powered wheelchairs, operate under demanding and often unpredictable conditions. As a result, they are subject to accelerated wear, as well as mechanical and electronic failures, which reduce operational safety and increase maintenance and repair costs. Therefore, investigating the operational performance of IRVs, analyzing the mechanisms of their failures, and developing scientifically grounded strategies for preventive maintenance and repair constitute important scientific and practical tasks in the field of rehabilitation engineering.
