The article explores the challenges and prospects for restoring the transport infrastructure of the Kherson region following large-scale destruction. The research analyzes the damage to industrial and engineering facilities and identifies critical challenges for the region’s logistics and economic activity. Drawing on international experience (Europe, Asia), the study substantiates the necessity of combining financial support with innovative technological solutions. The system-forming role of logistical systems is demonstrated, and alternative short-term solutions are proposed, specifically the development of inland water transport. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of materials science innovations – polymer and composite coatings – to enhance the durability of infrastructure. Strategic directions for post-war recovery are proposed based on the principles of "Industry 4.0."
