ANALYSIS OF FLAX RIBBON LOOSENING DEVICES

Abstract

To achieve high volumes of production of high-quality raw materials, it is critically important to introduce advanced technologies and equipment in flax growing. Despite the fact that the modern market of equipment is currently represented mainly by expensive foreign models, Ukraine has the potential to create its own production of flax harvesting machines. This is made possible thanks to international cooperation with world brands and the use of the significant experience of domestic scientists who have devoted their work to studying the working processes of specialized equipment and flax growing machines. The article analyzes the devices of flax harvesting machines for loosening the flax stalk tape, identifies their shortcomings and outlines ways to improve such devices to improve the quality of loosening the flax stalk tape. The quality of the loosening devices was assessed by fulfilling the established agrotechnical requirements. The loosening devices for flax stalk tape presented in the article can be used during the implementation of various flax harvesting technologies
