Abstract

The article discusses modern welding methods in automotive engineering, in particular technologies such as arc welding
(MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG), submerged arc welding, electroslag welding and plasma welding. An analysis of their technical
characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, as well as the specifics of their application in the context of requirements for
quality, reliability and economic efficiency of joints is carried out. It has been determined that the choice of the optimal welding
technology depends on the material, design and purpose of the parts, and the introduction of innovative methods contributes to
improving the quality and competitiveness of automotive products.
