Editorial policy of the collection
The editorial policy of the collection of scientific papers "Scientific Notes" is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high demands on the quality of scientific research; mandatory article review; compliance with collegiality in making decisions on the publication of articles; accessibility and efficiency in communication with the authors; strict observance of copyright and related rights. At the same time, the journal's policy is aimed at protecting authors' rights and complying with the requirements of international professional organizations, in particular COPE .
The editors of the collection adhere to the principles of academic integrity. The grounds for rejecting the article for publication are the violation by the authors of the publications of the principles of academic integrity provided by the laws of Ukraine.
The editors of the collection do not publish materials without new scientific results, and at the same time without information that they are review or scientific-methodical.
The editors of the collection make a decision on the publication of the submitted articles, which is based on their scientific novelty and the conclusions of the reviewers, as well as guided by the thematic focus of the collection.
Neither the editors nor the editorial board are responsible for the opinions, views and content of the published manuscripts in the collection. Originality, proofreading of manuscripts and errors is an sole responsibility of individual authors.
The decision of the reviewers is crucial for the publication of the article in the collection.
The editorial policy of the publication uses open science practices:
- encourages the use of permanent identifiers (DOI, ORCID);
- supports the openness of scientific data in accordance with industry standards;
- ensures transparency of the editorial and review processes;
- adheres to the principles of open licensing and lawful reuse of materials.
Complaints and Appeals Procedure
Complaints and appeals are handled in accordance with COPE recommendations.
All cases are reviewed by:
- the Editor-in-Chief;
- the Executive Editor;
- the handling editor.
Where necessary, members of the Editorial Board or external experts may be involved.
All complaints are addressed in a fair, confidential, and timely manner.
