The study focuses on improving the flow process of “harvesting – transportation – post-harvest handling” of fruit in horticulture, which is important for food security and the export potential of the industry. The impact of on-farm logistics organization on product quality preservation and loss reduction is examined. Queue formation at the reception channel and conditions ensuring continuous technological flow are analyzed. A queuing system model is proposed, enabling an analytical description of crop arrival, optimization of the number of transport units, and coordination of processing capacities. The results contribute to reducing crop losses and increasing production efficiency.
