This scientific article raises the problem of import substitution of construction materials. Its solution is proposed through the development of scientific principles and reference-methodological support, which will allow the correct replacement of structural materials by machine-building enterprises of Ukraine. At the same time, it is advisable to use the acquired knowledge in the training of higher education applicants and highly qualified personnel in the field of knowledge 13 Mechanical engineering.
