Generative AI Usage Policy

The journal “Agricultural Machinery” follows the recommendations of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and leading international publishers (including Elsevier) regarding the use of generative artificial intelligence tools.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or large language models:

·                     cannot be listed as authors or co-authors;

·                     cannot assume responsibility for the accuracy of data;

·                     cannot guarantee compliance with ethical standards;

·                     cannot declare conflicts of interest.

Full responsibility for the manuscript content remains with the author(s).

 Requirements for Authors

If generative AI tools are used, authors must:

·                     explicitly disclose the use of AI in the manuscript;

·                     specify the tool name, version, and date of use;

·                     describe the purpose of use (language editing, translation, structuring, etc.);

·                     indicate the nature of prompts if they influenced the content.

AI tools may be used only as supportive instruments for:

·                     language editing;

·                     stylistic improvement;

·                     translation.

 Restrictions

AI must not be used for:

·                     generating scientific results;

·                     fabricating or manipulating experimental data;

·                     creating or modifying figures, diagrams, or graphical materials unless such use is part of the research methodology and properly disclosed;

·                     undisclosed text generation presented as original scholarly work.

 Editorial Control

The Editorial Board reserves the right to:

·                     apply automated tools to detect AI-generated content;

·                     request clarification from authors;

·                     reject manuscripts in cases of undisclosed AI use.

Undisclosed or inappropriate use of generative AI may be considered a breach of publication ethics and may result in rejection or retraction.
