Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the effectiveness of a complex additive containing a polycarboxylate superplasticizer and a grinding intensifier during the production of oil-well cement in a cement ball mill. Established quantitative grinding regime parameters and the main properties of oil-well cement. Determined general directions for improving the oil-well cement grinding process. Presented the general trend of intensification of the cement grinding process when using various combinations of additive components, based on the specific surface area of cement. Determined ways to reduce the water separation of oil-well cement with the complex action of the additive composition. Presented possible ways to reduce the water-cement ratio with sufficient spreading of the oil-well cement and ensuring its plasticity properties. It is determined that the combination of a superplasticizer in an amount of 0.05% and propylene glycol 0.1% by weight of cement makes it possible to achieve a low water separation index when cement paste spreading up to 260 mm. Obtained results make it possible to reduce the amount of mix water by 20%. Presented the dynamics of changes in the strength indicators of oil-well cement with different combinations of the studied additives. The introduction of the proposed additives during grinding ensures sufficient homogeneity of mixing with cement. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the introduction of the proposed complex additive can serve simultaneously as a grinding intensifier and a modifier of the main properties of oil-well cement.
