Anti-plagiarism policy
Statement of responsibility
The journal “Modern Technologies and Methods of Calculations in Construction” adheres to high standards of academic integrity. All authors submitting manuscripts bear full responsibility for the originality of their work and proper citation of scientific sources. Authors are required to follow ethical principles of research and citation.
Originality requirements and acceptable use
Only original, previously unpublished manuscripts are accepted for publication. Submitted materials must not have been published in other publications in any language or be under consideration by other journals. The use of third-party materials, including texts, data, or ideas, must be properly cited.
Plagiarism detection procedure
To ensure compliance with these requirements, the journal uses specialized software to detect textual similarities and potential plagiarism. The system checks both online sources and the journal’s internal databases.
The editorial board reviews all identified cases of plagiarism and reserves the right to reject the submitted manuscript.
Scientific articles submitted to the journal are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- if the originality level exceeds 75%, the manuscript is admitted to peer review;
- if the originality level is below 75%, the manuscript is not accepted for consideration.
Editorial response to plagiarism
The editorial board reserves the right to refuse peer review or publication of any manuscript containing indications of plagiarism.
Ethical compliance and institutional standards
This policy complies with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) recommendations and reflects international standards of research integrity. All participants in the publication process, including authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers, are required to adhere to professional and ethical standards.
Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable, considered unethical, and constitutes a violation of professional conduct in relations among authors, reviewers, editors, publishers, and readers, contradicting the principles of publication ethics.
