Abstract

The possibility of building a mathematical model for solving the problems of relationships of wear characteristics
and properties of the elements of the tribosystem is investigated. The implementation of the model of mathematical planning
of an active experiment for solving tribological problems on the basis of experimental data obtained in the laboratory is
represented. The presented technique is used to study the wear process of products for composites based on steel powder
SHX15 obtained from waste from bearing production.The obtained results convincingly show that the mathematical model of
the relationship between wear characteristics and individual properties of the tribomechanical system has significant practical
significance, in particular, allows to establish the optimal composition of the composite and its effect on the coefficient of
friction and wear. The research carried out in this work allows to further substantiate the choice of plans for such
experiments because their statistical processing determines with a sufficient degree of reliability the studied characteristics by
testing a finite number of samples.
