Abstract

Experimental equipment for carrying out researches of telescopic screw conveyors was developed. Studies have shown that the biggest problem in telescopic screw conveyors is to maintain the same clearance between the casing and the spiral in different sections of the telescope, which significantly affects the time of rolling and rolling the axially moving part of the auger fixed. It has also been found that the overload performance of agricultural goods by telescopic screw conveyor does not differ from the overload performance of these materials by traditional screw conveyors. To determine the effect of structural and kinematic parameters of the telescopic screw conveyor on the torque of the auger drive during transportation of corn, wheat and mixed feed, full-factorial experiments were performed. The magnitude of the torque on the drive of the screw of the telescopic screw conveyor was determined from the change of three main factors: the speed of the screw, the length of the auger and the angle of the conveyor. The equation of torque regression is deduced depending on the change in the speed of the screw, the length of the elongation of the screw, the angle of inclination of the conveyor. The results of experimental studies of torque overload with a telescopic screw conveyor showed that the main factors that influence the increase in torque on the actuator are the speed of the auger and its length, as well as a combination of these factors.
