Abstract

The article examines the formation, current state and prospects for the development of engineering ethics in Ukraine. The role of educational institutions, professional codes and socio-historical events (in particular, Chernobyl) in the formation of the ethical consciousness of engineers is analyzed. An overview of existing ethical codes in Ukrainian engineering communities, practical challenges and recommendations for integrating ethical training into curricula and corporate practice are presented.
