PARAMETRIC STANDARDIZATION OF SCREW AND AUGER BILLETS
Abstract
From the point of view of the system approach the practical bases of parametric standardization of auger flights of screw working bodies which contains the information on weight, nominal values and interrelation of geometrical parameters of various kinds of such products (shaped, tape) for various ways of their manufacturing (winding, rolling and sheet-metal stamping) are developed. The created ranks involve 6000 standard sizes of screw billets on the basis of a combination of values of a step, diameters of external and internal edges and thickness of winding. The developed ranks of nominal values of the unified parameters of screw billets take into account the nominal values of screw elements in accordance with current national and foreign standards, as well as the latest advances in manufacturing technologies. The obtained results are the basis for the creation of harmonized domestic standards, and also contribute to the reduction of the excessively large range of screw products, similar in purpose and those that differ slightly in design and in-use performance. The introduction of these developments reduces the pre-production time, helps to create conditions for effective specialization and cooperation of enterprises, increase their technical and economic efficiency, and promotes the production of interchangeable products, which is the basis for import substitution, effective promotion of national competitive goods on the world market in the context of globalization of international trade relations.
