Justification for choosing car washing equipment

The aim of this study is to develop an approach to selecting car wash equipment. Based on an analysis of modern car wash technologies and the equipment used in this process, a classification of such equipment according to a number of criteria is proposed. Data on the technical characteristics of various types of car wash equipment are presented. It has been established that the decisive factors in selecting the type of car wash equipment are their technical and operational characteristics, taking into account economic feasibility and modern environmental requirements. The potential for establishing self-service car washes in the city of Kropyvnytskyi is highlighted.
The paper analyses modern car washing technologies and the equipment used in this process, which has enabled a classification of these technologies based on key characteristics. In particular, for different washing methods and technologies, these characteristics include: type of service, washing mechanism, impact on the surface being washed, and working water pressure. Car wash equipment is classified by: degree of specialisation, level of mobility, technical design, vehicle class, construction, operating mode, and method of water heating.
It has been established that the key factors in selecting the type of car wash equipment are technical, operational, economic and environmental indicators. Taking these indicators into account can provide practical guidance when choosing car wash technology and equipment.
Taking into account current trends in the services market, it has been concluded that automated and contactless car wash systems, as well as self-service car washes, have a promising future in Kropyvnytskyi.
