Article Review

Process of reviewing of the articles presented in the press in the collection of scientific works "Modern technologies and methods of calculations in building", passes in two stages.

The first stage - the article should be accompanied by a review from the leading scientist in the scientific direction of the article.

In the second stage, the editorial board provides an independent review of the materials submitted for publication by scholars who conduct research on similar topics, and sends the authors comments and recommendations of reviewers. The authors make the necessary changes to the article, and in case they do not agree with the comments of the reviewer, give a justification. After the final approval of the text of the article by the authors and reviewers, the editorial board gives permission to print the article. The article approved for publication is edited by the technical editor. Minor corrections of stylistic, spelling, technical nature, which do not affect the content of the article, the editor makes without the consent of the author.

Reviews are kept in the editorial office for at least three years.

 

The reviewer evaluates the article by the following criteria:

  1. Is the topic of the article relevant and has a scientific interest for the journal audience?
  2. Does an article contain original research?
  3. Is the methodology and interpretation of research by the way and is it properly applied?
  4. Does the title of the article accurately reflects the article’s content?
  5. Are the purposes of the article in receipt clearly defined?
  6. Is the article clearly and concisely written and well structured?
  7. Does the article contain a sufficient number of relevant references to literary sources?
  8. Are the required tables and figures in the article?
  9. Are the aims, methods and results of the article sufficiently reflected in the abstract?
  10. 10. Are the main results and the contribution of researchers in the conclusion of the article clearly stated?
